South Dakota State 95, Southwest Minnesota State 70
BROOKINGS, S.D. - Garrett Callahan scored 27 points to lead a quartet of players in double figures for South Dakota State, who rolled to a 95-70 victory over Southwest Minnesota State Tuesday night.
The Jackrabbits raced to a 41-28 halftime lead and never looked back while improving to 4-5 with the win.
Callahan hit 8-of-10 shots, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, for the game-high point total. Garrett's brother Griffan led SDSU with seven rebounds.
Kai Williams scored 16 points and pulled down six boards for the Jacks while Tony Fiegen scored 11 with six rebounds and Clint Sargent chipped in 10.
