IUPUI joined Oakland in the Mid-Major Top 25 , giving The Summit League two teams in the poll for the first time this season.
ELMHURST, Ill. - For the first time this season, a pair of Summit League teams are simultaneously ranked in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll. League-leader Oakland remains in the rankings at No. 16 this week while IUPUI enters the list for the first time this season, checking in at No. 25.

The Summit League is one of just seven leagues to have multiple teams in the Mid-Major Top 25.

Oakland, who leads The Summit League with a 10-1 league record and owns a 16-8 overall mark, peaked in last week's poll at No. 12 for its highest position of the season. The Golden Grizzlies started league play 9-0 for the third-best start in history while also running their consecutive league win streak to 16 games, equaling the mark set by Cleveland State during the 1992 and 1993 seasons.

IUPUI halted Oakland's streak with a 78-54 victory to extend its own win streak to a season-best six games and pull into a first-place tie. The Jaguars dropped their next contest, 62-60 in overtime to IPFW, on a buzzer-beating shot with 0.3 seconds remaining. IUPUI is currently in second-place with a 9-2 league record and is 16-8 overall.

Butler sits atop the Mid-Major Top 25 followed by Northern Iowa and Gonzaga. This week's complete poll can be viewed here.
