UMKC 3, Baker 0
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (umkckangaroos.com) - With Metro Sports covering the game live, the UMKC men's soccer team blanked Baker University, 3-0, on Tuesday night at Durwood Soccer Stadium & Recreational Field.  Three different Kangaroo players scored in the contest, as UMKC won its second straight game to improve to 6-7-2 on the season.

The 'Roos got on the board first at the 13:19 mark when junior John Bayron Sosa sent a through ball to freshman David Sarabia.  The Miami, Fla., native then fired a shot on a bounce from 20-yards out into the lower left corner to put his squad up 1-0.  The strike was Sarabia's seventh of the season.

Freshman Tom Black added UMKC's second goal in the 30th minute courtesy of Sosa's second assist of the night.  Black took Sosa's pass and turned it into a one-on-one situation, where he fired the ball into the lower left corner past a diving Alex Burton.

After taking the 2-0 lead into the half, the 'Roos put the game away with a Bryan Perez strike in the 57th minute.  Black found Perez, who proceeded to fire the attempt into the upper right corner for his team and Summit League leading ninth goal of the season.  It was also Perez's fifth straight game with a goal and his sixth strike in seven games.

Junior Ken Cooper and senior Ricardo Guerra combined for the shutout for the 'Roos, as the duo made five and two saves, respectively.  The win is Cooper's sixth of the season and the 20th of his career, which is the second most all-time in school history.

RALEIGH, N.C. (gocentenary.com) - While facing the No. 13 ranked team, the Centenary men's soccer team dropped a 5-0 match to North Carolina State on Tuesday evening in non-conference action.

The Gents (3-13-1) battled to a 0-0 first half score, but the Wolfpack went on a scoring surge, netting five goals in the final half to take the win.

Centenary managed to fire off three shots, two by sophomore John McHugh, one landing on goal and the other by classmate Tate McIntyre.

Gents' keepers junior Rennie Walker and freshman Robbie Ramirez were in goal to defend a very aggressive offensive North Carolina State team that attempted 28 shots, 15 landing on goal.

Walker got the start and played just over 71 minutes, making seven saves, while Ramirez was in goal the final 19 minutes saving two.

Centenary tallied only one corner kick to the Wolfpack's 14.
