ELMHURST, Ill. - After finishing the regular season in a three-way tie for first place with a 7-2-0 record in The Summit League standings,  IUPUI led the way with seven selections to the women's soccer all-league teams. The other two teams to finish in first, South Dakota State and North Dakota State, were honored with six and five selections, respectively.

IUPUI's Alicia Brock captured the Offensive Player of the Year award and teammate Stephanie Hoffman was named the Defensive Player of the Year. Lisa Underwood from IPFW was named the Freshman of the Year, while Chris Johnson of IUPUI was named Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.

Brock captured her first Offensive Player of the Year award after claiming the Newcomer of the Year honor last season. Named the Sept. 21 Offensive Player of the Week, the sophomore collected 19 points on eight goals and three assists, along with netting three game-winners for the Jaguars. Her point and goal totals were both fourth in the league for all matches, while her game-winning goals ranked second.

Hoffman earned Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring the IUPUI backline that allowed a league-lows in goals allowed and goals against average. As a team, the Jags allowed a total of 17 goals in all matches and eight for league matches, while posting a team goals against average of 0.88. The senior also added a goal and three assists to the Jags offensive attack.

Underwood was named Freshman of the Year after leading the league with 11 goals in 17 matches and collecting a team-high 24 points. Eight of her 11 goals came in league play, also a league-best, while 35 of her shots were against league competition. She also helped the Mastodons triple their league win total from the previous two seasons combined.

Johnson collects Coach of the Year honors for the second straight year after leading the Jags to a 7-2-0 league record and 15-4-0 overall mark, a school season record for victories. The 2009 season marked Johnson's seventh guiding IUPUI and he also produced the school's first two Players of the Year in Brock and Hoffman.

Members of the all-league first team were IUPUI's Brock, Hoffman, Jamie Farrell (0.85 GAA, 7 SO) and Katrina McCrory (6 goals, 5 assists), North Dakota State's Brooklyn Dyce (5 goals, 12 points) and Abbey Stratton (6 goals, 16 points), Centenary's Katie Valdez (10 goals, 90 shots), IPFW's Underwood, Oral Roberts' Natalya Manyan (6 goals, 14 points), South Dakota State's Kaitlin Justice (6 goals, 3 GWG) and Western Illinois' Jennifer Green (3 goals, 7 points).
