ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's men's basketball uniform topped Denver's women's soccer in fan voting to advance in The Summit League's Uni Madness contest. The Jackrabbits received 80.2 percent of the vote to reach the semifinal round.
SDSU moves on to the semifinal round where its men's basketball uniform will be paired against Western Illinois' softball uniform. The first semifinal, to be voted upon next week, pits South Dakota's men's golf attire vs. Oral Roberts' track and field uniform.
Semifinals matchups are set for the weeks of July 17 and 24 with the championship round beginning July 31.
Summit League Uni Madness is a bracketed competition to determine the league's "hottest" summer look. Each league member nominated four uniforms with the one receiving the highest vote in the school voting round advancing as that institution's representative in the final field.
