In 1963, Indiana University and Purdue University opened the combined campus of IPFW. As the most comprehensive university in northeast Indiana with more than 14,000 students, IPFW offers more than 200 degree and certificate options. University life has become an important contributor to the Fort Wayne region's cultural growth.
