TULSA, Okla. – Pitcher of the Year Miguel Ausua saved his best performance of the year for the biggest game of the year as No. 1 Oral Roberts defeated No. 2 North Dakota State, 7-0, in The Summit League Baseball Tournament championship game.

With the win, the Golden Eagles earn the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Regionals and captured their 18th Summit League Tournament crown.

In the first inning, Oral Roberts loaded the bases with a pair of walks and a hit batter before Brent Williams hit a sacrifice fly to put the Golden Eagles up 1-0. ORU added another run in the third inning giving Ausua a two-run cushion.

ORU added five runs in the sixth inning, the 16th time it accomplished the feat this season, on four hits, including a two-run double by Cal Hernandez and two-RBI single by Sam Grellner.

The best scoring chances for the Bison came in the seventh and eighth innings. NDSU loaded the bases in the seventh only to have ORU turn a double play to end the threat. Logan Busch singled to lead off the Bison eighth but was left stranded at third base.

Oral Roberts starter Miguel Ausua (11-2) tossed his first career complete game shutout surrendering just five hits with five strikeouts and no walks for the win. Blake Stockert (3-2) suffered the loss for NDSU.

Turning Point
Up by a 2-0 score, Oral Roberts tallied five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to go up 7-0 and put the game out of reach.
