SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –  The collegiate baseball season got underway this past weekend and Oral Roberts' Andrew Pace and South Dakota State's Brady Stover each started their respective seasons in impressive fashion, earning the first #SummitBSB weekly accolades of the season.

Pace took home the Player of the Week honor after going 8-for-13 at the plate in a three-game sweep of Murray State. Pace had multiple hits in each of the three contests, including a career-high four hits in game two of Saturday's doubleheader. The senior outfielder added three doubles, three runs scored and five RBI in the series.

Stover opened the Jacks' season by tossing five scoreless innings and picking up the win in a 15-3 victory over UT Martin. Stover surrendered just a pair of singles and fanned nine Skyhawks. The lefthander had at least one strikeout in every inning and fanned the side in the second.
