FW’s Jenkins Captures Men’s Golfer of the Month Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne's Devin Jenkins was named Summit League Men's Golfer of the Month for his performances during the month of September.

Sr.  // Floyds Knobs, Ind.

  • Collected his first career Golfer of the Month honor
  • Placed first among 100 golfers at the NKU Fall Classic from Sept. 25-26 with a 54-hole 213 (71-69-73)
  • Won the NKU Fall Classic on the fourth hole of a playoff against two other competitors
  • Finished tied for 13th at the Turning Stone-Tiger Intercollegiate (Sept. 4-5) with a three-round score of 219 (75-73-71)
  • As a team, the Mastodons placed third at the NKU Fall Classic and sixth at the Turning Stone-Tiger Intercollegiate
  • For the month, Jenkins had three rounds at 72 or under and recorded a 72.0 stroke average, which also ranks first in the league
