SDSU’s Getz Earns Women’s Golfer of the Month Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – SDSU's Hallie Getz was named Summit League Women's Golfer of the Month for her performances during the month of September. The honor marks the first monthly award of the season.

  • Received first career Golfer of the Month honor
  • Placed first among 65 golfers at the Chip-N Club Invitational (Sept. 25-27) with a 54-hole 213 (74-71-68)
  • Finished in the top-5 in all three tournaments during the month
  • Tied for third individually and led her team to a first-place finish at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial
  • As a team, the Jackrabbits also placed first at the Omaha Invitational and second at the Chip-N Club Invitational  
  • For the month, Getz recorded three rounds at 72 or under and posted a 73.22 stroke average
