SDSU’s Mingo Captures Women’s Golfer of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's Megan Mingo was named Summit League Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance during the week of March 15-21.

  • Earned her third career Golfer of the Week honor, in addition to a pair of Golfer of the Month awards
  • Took second place out of 69 golfers with a 36-hole 138 (68-70) at the Lady Thunderbird Invitational
  • The Jackrabbits took first place in the event, their NCAA-leading fifth title this year
  • Broke the school record for 36 holes (136) and tied the 18-hole record (68)
  • SDSU broke two team school records for 18-hole score (282) and 36-hole score (564)
