Albany (3-1) led 11-5 following a 3-pointer from Iati. But Kansas City's Estan Tyler knocked down a trey of his own to help the Kangaroos go on a 21-12 run and take a 26-23 lead into halftime.

Albany opened the second half on a 9-2 run to retake the lead and quickly pushed that advantage to 10, 45-35, behind another trey from Iati. Kirk Korver, however, hit a 3-pointer of his own to cut the deficit to 45-38.
