South Dakota 57, Texas State 56
SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) - Brandon Bos, who had 15 points and 10 rebounds, grabbed an offensive rebound and made a layup with 18 seconds left to give South Dakota a 57-56 win over Texas State on Monday night.

Texas State (0-5), which had an 11 point lead with 8:15 to play, got a layup at the buzzer for the final points.

Bos had a layup, two free throws, a steal, an assist and two rebounds as the Coyotes (1-3) scored 14 straight points to take a 55-51 lead with 3 minutes left. Casey Kasperbauer closed the run with back-to-back 3-pointers.

Bos was the only South Dakota player in double figures.

Wes Davis had 19 points for Texas State with Joel Wright scoring 16 to go with 13 rebounds. Emani Gant had 12 rebounds as Texas State had a 46-26 advantage

South Dakota State 77, Howard 65
BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) – Cody Larson scored a career-high 24 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and had three blocked shots to lead South Dakota State to a 77-65 victory over Howard Monday night.

Anders Broman contributed a career-high 16 points and Jordan Dykstra, who pulled down 11 rebounds, had 14 points for the Jackrabbits.

South Dakota State (2-4) took a 12-0 lead as Howard (2-5), which was only 16-of-55 from the floor for the game, could not get going. The Bison did close to 37-30 on a Prince Okoroh layup to start the final period. Larson then made four free throws on two different trips to the line, Broman hit two consecutive 3-pointers and Larson added layup to put the Jackrabbits out front 49-35. Howard never recovered from that run.

James Daniel, who was 4-of-9 from three-point range, had 27 points for Howard. Okoroh added 12 points.

Omaha 83, South Carolina State 67
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) - Mike Rostampour scored 19 points, shooting 7 of 11 from the field, and pulled down 9 rebounds to lead Omaha to an 83-67 win over South Carolina State Monday night.

CJ Carter had 17 points for Omaha (4-3). John Karhoff, who has now scored 1008 points in his career, had 13 and 6 rebounds.

The teams were even throughout the first half with the Mavericks taking a 43-42 lead into the break. The score was tied seven times with five lead changes.

It was a different story in the second half as a Devin Patterson layup stretched the score to 45-42. A Jordan Smith 3-pointer moved South Carolina State (2-5) to within 2 at the 17:53 mark, but that was as close as the Bulldogs could come. The Mavericks then went on a 19-3 run to lead 68-50 midway through the period.

Daryll Palmer led the Bulldogs with 14 points.

Missouri 78, IUPUI 64
COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Jabari Brown scored a career-high 24 points and Jordan Clarkson added 22 to help Missouri defeat IUPUI 78-64 on Monday night.

Missouri (5-0) scored 13 of the game's first 17 points and never trailed. Brown shot 7-of-12 from the field and 5-of-8 from behind the arc.

Ja'Rob McCallum scored 14 points and Ian Chiles added 12 for IUPUI (1-5), which shot 50 percent from the field in the first half but only 39.4 percent in the second.

Missouri made 50.9 percent of its shots and took a 47-34 halftime lead, but IUPUI hung around, narrowing its deficit to 70-61 with 6:39 left on a jumper from Chiles. Missouri's Clarkson then scored the game's next five points to give the Tigers a 14-point lead with 4:13 remaining.

IUPUI's Chiles averaged 19.2 points per game entering the night to lead the Summit League, but his 12 points were his second-lowest output of the season. McCallum and Justus Stanback combined for 25 points off the Jaguars' bench, which outscored its counterpart 25-9 for the game after failing to register a point in both of IUPUI's last two games.

The game marked the second contest for both teams in the Las Vegas Invitational, but it had no impact on the outcome of the tournament. The schools will travel to Nevada for games on Thanksgiving.
