North Dakota State 74, South Dakota State 59
FARGO, N.D. (AP)- TrayVonn Wright scored 20 points with seven rebounds as North Dakota State won its fifth straight to lead the Summit League by defeating South Dakota State 74-59 on Saturday.

Marshall Bjorklund had 18 points for the Bison (21-6, 10-2 Summit), Lawrence Alexander added 12 and Kory Brown 10.

North Dakota State jumped to a 16-6 lead to start the first period and led 33-18 at halftime.

An Alexander layup at 14:10 in the second half gave the Bison their biggest lead of the game, 46-26. South Dakota State came within 10 on a Marcus Heemstra 3-pointer with 3:28 left to play before the Bison went 11-6 to finish with Alexander, Brown and Taylor Braun combining for 9 of 10 from the line.

North Dakota State leads the nation in field goal percentage, hitting 50.4 percent overall.

Jordan Dykstra led the Jackrabbits (16-11, 8-4) with 10 points and six rebounds.

Denver 72, Omaha 60
DENVER (AP) - Chris Udofia scored 12 points with 11 rebounds and Cam Griffin added 14 points as Denver defeated Omaha 72-60 on Saturday night.

Marcus Byrd came off the bench to score 12 points for the Pioneers (15-12, 8-4 Summit). Nate Engesser added 11 and Bryant Rucker nine.

The Pioneers went 14 of 16 (87.5 percent) from the line during the contest and sank 44 percent from the field.

Omaha jumped to an 18-9 advantage early in the first but Denver came back with Byrd, Engesser and Brett Olson combining for six 3-pointers, moving the Pioneers to a 41-34 halftime lead.

With Denver up 54-40 at 12:23 in the second, Udofia and Griffin engineered a 14-5 run to give the Pioneers a comfortable 68-45 edge with 7:46 to play.

CJ Carter led the Mavericks (15-13, 4-8) with 12 points and five rebounds.

Fort Wayne 84, IUPUI 60
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Luis Jacobo had 13 points and nine rebounds, Steve Forbes added 12 and nine, and Fort Wayne cruised on Saturday to its 20th win of the season, 84-60 over IUPUI.

Jacobo and Forbes were joined in double figures by Joe Reed (12), Michael Kibiloski (11), Pierre Bland (10) and Mo Evans (10).

Fort Wayne (20-9, 8-4 Summit League) never trailed and led 36-25 at halftime. The Mastodons shot 21 for 29 in the second half, extending their largest lead to 27.

The Mastodons shot 35 of 54 overall and 5 of 10 from 3-point range, but just 9 of 19 from the free-throw line.

Fort Wayne had a 39-21 rebounding advantage over IUPUI (6-23, 1-11) which lost for the 11th time in 12 games.

Marcellus Barksdale had 13 points to lead the Jaguars, who struggled with just 2-of-18 3-point shooting. Khufu Najee and Donovan Gibbs added 11 points apiece.

South Dakota 64, Western Illinois 54
VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota used a deft touch from the free throw line and from beyond the arc to snap a six-game losing streak to Western Illinois and even its Summit League record with a 64-54 win Saturday.

Karim Rowson and Tyler Larson scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, to lead South Dakota (12-15, 6-6 Summit). The Coyotes were 17 of 18 from the free throw line, hitting their final six in a row to close out the Leathernecks. South Dakota connected on 7 of 18 shots from long range and were 20 of 45 from the field (44.4 percent).

Western Illinois (9-18, 3-9) was 22 of 48 from the field (45.8 percent), but connected on just 3 of 17 3-point attempts and was 7 of 15 from the line.

Garrett Covington scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Leathernecks, with Jabari Sandifer adding another 12 points.
