ELMHURST, Ill. – Oral Roberts' Obi Emegano earned The Summit League's Player of the Week award following his opening weekend performance Nov. 14-16. The honor marks the initial weekly award of the season.

Emegano earned his first career Player of the Week award after a 26-point performance that keyed Oral Roberts' victory over crosstown rival Tulsa. He scored 18 of his 26 points in the second half and went 14-of-16 from the free throw line, including hitting six in a row during a key stretch in which ORU took control with a 13-0 run. Emegano pulled down seven rebounds and dished out a career-high four assists in the game. His performance drew national attention as a top performer on NBC's College Basketball Talk website.
