Omaha’s Carter Named #SummitMBB Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Omaha's CJ Carter earned The Summit League's Player of the Week award following his performance Nov. 17-23.

Carter earned his second career Player of the Week award after averaging 21 points per game and leading Omaha to an upset of Marquette. In the Mavericks' 97-89 win over the Golden Eagles, Carter scored a season-high 25 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including a trio of three-pointers, and an 8-for-10 effort at the free throw line. He also added three assists, two rebounds and two steals in the victory. Against Seattle, Carter scored 17 with four assists and two rebounds. For the week, Carter averaged 21.0 points, 3.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game.
