SAN ANTONIO -- Four former Summit League men's basketball standouts begin play in the Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship Friday as part of The Summit League's squad.
Denver's Daniel Amigo, Fort Wayne's Bryson Scott, South Dakota's Nick Fuller and South Dakota State's Reed Tellinghuisen make up The Summit League team and is in pool four with teams from the SEC, MAAC and Northeast conferences.
The first game is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. Friday against the MAAC, with a showdown against the SEC set for 9 p.m. Pool play wraps up on Saturday at 11 a.m. against the Northeast Conference. Pool play and quarterfinal games are viewable on Twitter through @3X3UHoops.
The winner of The Summit League's pool will play in a quarterfinal game at 12:55 p.m. Sunday afternoon against a team from pool five (Big Ten, Conference USA, Southern and Southland). Semifinals, third-place and championship games are viewable on ESPN2.

Games are played at St. Mary's University's Bill Greehey Arena on a single half-court witha 12-second shot clock. Baskets are one point inside the arc and two points for a long-distance bucket. The first team to 21 points, or best score after 10 minutes is the winner.
