    Centenary Athletic Director Dr. Tom Tallach today announced the hiring of David Orr as head coach of the men's soccer program. Orr is a Centenary alum that played for the Gents and served as an assistant coach for the team for four seasons from 1999-2002.

IUPUI's Vangel Nacovski was named Offensive Player of the Year, while Oakland's Ian Daniel was named the Defensive Player of the Year and Martin Sandell was named the Newcomer of the Year. Meanwhile, the Golden Grizzlies' Gary Parsons was named the Coach of the Year.

    For the fourth time in league history, Oakland will be the top seed in the 2007 Summit League Men's Soccer Championship by virtue of a 5-0-1 mark in league play. IUPUI will be the No. 2 seed, while Oral Roberts and UMKC will be the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, respectively. The tournament will be held Nov. 16 and 18, at Kuntz Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. The tournament champion will receive The Summit League's automatic berth to the NCAA Men's College Cup.
