Denver’s Elder, Dunk Named #SummitMSOC Players of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver forward Blake Elder was named Summit League Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while teammate defender Reagan Dunk garnered the Defensive Player of the Week award for their performances, Oct. 10-16.

  • Recorded five shots in a pair of wins on the week over No. 9 Butler (1-0) and Western Illinois (2-0)
  • Notched the game-winning goal in Denver's 1-0 victory at Butler Monday
  • The win over Butler marked the first over a top-ten program in Denver's Division I history
  • With the wins, the Pioneers extended their regular season unbeaten streak to 31 straight matches

  • The Pioneers have recorded eight shutouts in their last nine matches
