Northern Colorado 67, Omaha 58 | Recap
OMAHA, Neb. (omavs.com) -- The Omaha women's basketball team had Northern Colorado on the ropes Friday evening before falling 67-58 at Sapp Fieldhouse.  With the loss, the Mavericks are now 2-3 (0-0 Summit League), while the Bears improve to 4-0 (0-0 Big Sky).

Three Mavericks scored in double figures for the evening, led by a team-best 17 points and 10 rebounds from sophomore guard Mikaela Shaw.  The Deweese, Neb. native shot 8-for-16 from the field.  Shaw added two steals and an assist.

Junior guard Brianna Bogard added 15 points, one steal, and one assist.  Freshman guard Remy Davenport chipped in 10 points on 3-of-9 shooting from the field.  Davenport also had three rebounds and a steal.  Taijhe Kelly added nine points and six rebounds, while Madi Robson dished out a team high five assists.

Siena 78, Denver 62 | Recap
DENVER (denverpioneers.com) -- The University of Denver women's basketball team could not stop the streaking Siena Saints on Friday afternoon at Magness Arena. Denver (0-4) fell to Siena (3-0), 78-62, in the second game of the Denver Thanksgiving Classic.

Senior guard Jordan Johnston had a season-high 15 points to go along with three rebounds and three assists to lead the Pioneers. Sophomore Jesse Spittel chipped in eight points and four rebounds. Freshman guard Tamara Lee in just three minutes scored her first collegiate points and ended up with six points for the game.

North Dakota State 79, Northeastern 72 | Recap
BOCA RATON, Fla. (gobison.com) -- The North Dakota State women's basketball team (2-2) claimed a 79-72 win over the Northeastern University (2-2) Huskies on Friday, Nov. 28, at FAU Arena to open play in the Florida Atlantic University Thanksgiving Tournament. Northeastern was receiving votes in the latest CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top-25 poll. 

Juniors Marena Whittle and Holly Johnson led three Bison in double figures with 19 points, with Whittle snagging a game-high 12 rebounds to secure her third straight double-double of the season. Senior Brooke LeMar added 14 points and five assists, matching her season-high.

Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic
North Carolina A&T 47, Oral Roberts 38 | Recap

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (oruathletics.com) -- For the second consecutive game turnovers were too much the Oral Roberts University women's basketball team to overcome as a second half rally fell short 47-38 to North Carolina A&T Friday night at the Southern Mississippi Thanksgiving Classic.

The Golden Eagles attempted to make a second half comeback after trailing 28-19 at the half. Both teams locked down on defense as offensive numbers continued to yield.

Senior Vicky McIntyre was able to get hot in the second half as she posted her fourth double-double of the season with eight of her 10 points coming in the second half. She was 5-of-7 from the field and added a season-high 19 rebounds.

Texas Southern 71, IUPUI 61 | Recap
NORTHRIDGE, Calif. (iupuijags.com) -- The IUPUI women's basketball team outscored Texas Southern from the three-point and free throw line, but turnovers proved to be costly in a 71-61 loss to the Tigers Friday afternoon in the first game of the Radisson Chatsworth Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by Cal State Northridge.
 
Nevena Markovic led all players with 18 points and nine rebounds and Akilah Sims added 13 points, but four Tigers scored in double-figures led by Morgan Simmons' 16 points.
