VERMILLION, S.D. (goyotes.com) -- Nicole Seekamp tallied 16 points and dished out six assists as the South Dakota women's basketball team collected its fifth straight win with a 81-62 victory over Valparaiso on Tuesday night in the DakotaDome. USD is now 4-0 at home this season.
Seekamp shot 4-for-9 from the field and was 8-for-8 from the free-throw line. For the second straight outing, all Coyotes (7-2) who played scored, and for the third-straight game, the Coyotes never trailed their opponent.
Two Coyotes nearly recorded double-doubles as Lisa Loeffler finished with 11 points and nine rebounds and Margaret McCloud added nine points and 12 rebounds. Jaylah Jackson added a career-high 10 points, upping her previous high of nine that she scored at Valparaiso (3-6) on Dec. 31 last season.

(goleathernecks.com) -- A 12-0 Leatherneck run midway through the second half proved to be the turning point Tuesday evening (Dec. 9), as the Leathernecks defeated Bradley by a final score of 75-63. Ashley Luke and Sophie Reichelt each recorded a double-double in the victory, moving Western to 5-4 on the season. The Braves, fresh off an upset victory over Missouri, fell to 1-7 on the year.
