VERMILLION, S.D. (goyotes.com) -- The South Dakota women's basketball team won its sixth-straight game and set a new USD single game scoring record during its 115-51 win over the University of Saint Mary (Kan.) on Thursday night in the DakotaDome.
Seven Coyotes (8-2) recorded double-digit point totals as Jaylah Jackson led the effort with a career-high 20 points. Raeshel Contreras came up one assist short of a double-double, finishing with 19 points, nine assists and six steals. Two players were one rebound shy of a double-double as Kate Liveringhouse had 14 points and nine rebounds and Heidi Hoff added 10 points and nine rebounds.

INDIANAPOLIS (iupuijags.com) -- The IUPUI women's basketball team shot a blistering 59 percent from the floor and held visiting IU Southeast to just 27.5 percent as the Jaguars stormed to a 95-45 win over the Grenadiers in The Jungle on Thursday night (Dec. 18). Senior Nevena Markovic led five Jaguars in double-digits with 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting and Mikale Rogers contributed a double-double off the bench to lead the Jaguars to victory.

BROOKINGS, S.D. (gojacks.com) -- Freshman Ellie Thompson recorded her first collegiate double-double as the South Dakota State University women's basketball team picked up a 67-42 nonconference win over UALR Thursday night in front of 1,375 fans at Frost Arena.
Thompson, who was one of five Jackrabbits to score in double figures, scored 12 points to go with 11 rebounds to lead the Jacks, now 7-3. Senior forward Mariah Clarin also scored 12 points. Senior guard Megan Waytashek added 11 points while sophomore guard Kerri Young and freshman guard Macy Miller each netted 10 points. Miller added a team-high four assists.
