FORT WAYNE, Ind. (gomastodons.com) -- The IPFW women's basketball team scored the first points of the game and never looked back as the Mastodons snapped a three-game losing streak, defeating Omaha 70-59. IPFW improves its record to 8-13 on the season and 2-6 in Summit League play.
Haley Seibert led the 'Dons with 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including four from long range. She added a game-high five steals to go along with five assists. Kamilah Carter came off the bench to finish in double figures for the 11th time this season, scoring 17 points. Keanna Gary also finished in double-digits with 10 points while grabbing eight rebounds.

BROOKINGS, S.D. (gojacks.com) -- A 24-3 run midway in the first half powered the South Dakota State women's basketball to a 71-46 victory over Oral Roberts University Thursday night in Summit League action in front of 1,841 fans at Frost Arena.
The Jackrabbits (14-7, 5-3) had four players score in double figures. Freshman Macy Miller led the Jackrabbits with 16 points, 10 coming in the first half. Senior forward Mariah Clarin added 12 points while senior guard Megan Waytashek and sophomore guard Kerri Young each scored 10 points. Clarin added eight rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots.

MACOMB, Ill. (goleathernecks.com) -- The Western Illinois women's basketball program had never defeated IUPUI under head coach JD Gravina until Thursday (Jan. 29) evening. A double-double from Ashley Luke led the way as the Leathernecks knocked off IUPUI by a final score of 73-62. Western Illinois finishes the first half of Summit League play at 5-3 (13-8 overall), while IUPUI falls to 4-4 in the league (9-12).
Luke, who collected her 12th double-double of the season, paced all scorers with 23 points while recording a team-high 10 rebounds. The Oak Creek, Wisconsin, native was joined by three Leathernecks in double-figures, as Sophie Reichelt, Michelle Maher, and Tori Niemann all tallied 11 points each for the Purple and Gold.
