POSTSEASON NEWS & NOTES

This marks the third consecutive year The Summit League has been represented in all three postseason tournaments ... For the sixth-straight year, The Summit League will have at least three teams participating in postseason play ... South Dakota State is making its sixth appearance in the NCAA Tournament while South Dakota is making its fifth-straight postseason appearance ... The Coyotes are 3-3 in postseason tournament play since 2013 ... This marks just the third time a Summit League team has been seeded No. 14 in the NCAA Tournament ... The 2015 Summit League Basketball Tournament smashed attendance figures by nearly 30 percent, setting marks during quarterfinal, semifinal and championship sessions ... The total women's attendance was 24,395, an average of 6,099 per session ... With the first quarterfinal session crowd of 8,171, the league established a new all-time record for its premier event ... The combined attendance total for the men's and women's tournaments was 60,007, an all-time high by over 33 percent.

SUMMIT LEAGUE TOURNAMENT SMASHES ATTENDANCE RECORDS
In its first season at the Denny Sanford PERMIER Center, The Summit League Basketball Championships smashed 11 all-time attendance records. Previous session marks fell each day and culminated in new standards for both the men's and women's tournament as well as the overall combined total. FULL RELEASE

NEW LEAGUE RECORDS
Three new Summit League single-game records have been set this season:
• Oral Roberts' Vicky McIntyre grabbed 27 rebounds vs. APSU on Nov. 29
• IUPUI's Nicole Rogers made 10 3-point field goals vs. IU-Kokomo on 12/11
• As a team, Denver connected on 19 3-pointers on Dec. 8 vs. Air Force
In addition to the three single-game records, a new single-season record was set
• Oral Roberts' Vicky McIntyre currently has 486 rebounds, which breaks former Western Illinois player Oberon Pitterson's 362 in 1993-94.

THIS AND THAT
• Since joining The Summit League, SDSU has a combined 195-70 (.736) overall record and 114-22 (.838) league mark.
• SDSU has been ranked in the Mid-Major Top 25 Poll 62 of the last 63 weeks.
• North Dakota State (Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic) and South Dakota State (Lady Rebel Round-Up) earned tournament titles this season.
• Denver's Morgan Van Riper-Rose, IUPUI's Shaquira Scott, NDSU's Marena Whittle and Brooke LeMar and SDSU's Mariah Clarin (MVP) have earned all-tournament team nods this year.

MEASURING UP AGAINST ITS PEERS
• Owns a .498 winning percentage vs. traditional mid-majors since '11

NATIONAL THREE-POINT STREAK....
The Fort Wayne Mastodons have made a three-point field goal in 495 straight contests, a stretch that is currently the second-longest active streak in NCAA Division I.

The Summit League features the NCAA's most unique collection of one-of-a-kind nicknames among its member institutions. Within U.S. college athletics, three names are exclusively held by Summit League schools: Mastodons (Fort Wayne), Jackrabbits (South Dakota State) and Leathernecks (Western Illinois). In addition, the name Coyotes (South Dakota) is unique to NCAA Division I.
