TULSA, Okla. (oruathletics.com) -- Maria Martianez grabbed her second consecutive double-double as the Oral Roberts women's basketball team ran past the North Dakota State Bison, 71-48, Thursday evening inside the Mabee Center.   

Maria Martianez opened the game for the Golden Eagles scoring the first basket for either squad. After back and forth play, ORU then went on a 12-1 run that gave the Golden Eagles and 11 point lead halfway through the quarter. ORU ended the first 10 minutes up 19-10 and shot 44 percent overall. The Golden Eagle defense held North Dakota State to 25 percent shooting overall. ORU also had four blocks in the first 10 minutes.

DENVER (gojacks.com) -- South Dakota State juniors Macy Miller and Madison Guebert each scored 18 points to lead the Jackrabbits to a 69-58 Summit League win at Denver in front of 481 fans at Hamilton Gymnasium.
Miller added seven rebounds and three assists while Guebert sank four 3-pointers. Freshman Myah Selland added nine points, grabbed a career- and game-high 11 rebounds and registered four steals and three blocks.
Denver, now 10-8 and 1-2, was led by Briana Johnson's 13 points, Claire Gritt's 11 points and Jordyn Alt's 10 points.

Through 35 years of Division I athletics, The Summit League features men's basketball teams from eight member institutions: Denver, Fort Wayne, North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Western Illinois with North Dakota becoming an official member for the 2018-19 season.
