INDIANAPOLIS – Top-seeded and No. 45 ranked Denver cruised past No. 4 seed IUPUI, 4-0, in Summit League Women's Tennis semifinal action Friday.

The Pioneers raced out to a 1-0 lead after claiming the doubles point behind victories by Bianca Mok and Morgan Barnhill (6-0) at No. 2 and from the nation's No. 15 tandem of Julia O'Loughlin and Summit League Player of the Year Maureen Slattery (6-2) at No. 1.

Arisha Ladhani gave Denver a 2-0 advantage with a 1 and 1 win at No. 4 singles. From there, the Pioneers sewed up the match behind shutout victories by Sonja Radosevic at No. 5 and Mok at No. 3.

Madhani's victory at No. 4 singles put Denver in position to take advantage of two singles matches that were on the brink of completion.

INDIANAPOLIS – South Dakota advanced to its first Summit League Championship match with a 4-1 semifinal victory over Oral Roberts Friday.

With the doubles point on the line, USD's tandem of Anastasia Bondarenko and Nanette Nylund tallied a 6-4 victory at the No. 1 position to give the Coyotes a 1-0 advantage.

Barbora Kollarova put USD up 2-0 with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 3 singles. Yuliya Sidenko followed with a 3 and 0 win at No. 2 singles for a 3-0 advantage.

Oral Roberts staved off elimination with a win at No. 5 singles by Brenda Mercado Jove (4 and 4) and cut the lead to 3-1.

Ellie Burns finished off the match with a 6-3, 6-3 triumph at the No. 1 position to clinch the win for South Dakota.

Sidenko put South Dakota on the brink of victory with a 3-0 lead after a straight-set win in the second completed singles match (No. 2 position).
