Omaha’s Kapelevich Nets #SummitWTN Player of the Week Award

ELMHURST, Ill. – Omaha's Marie Kapelevich was named Summit League Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance Feb. 27-March 5.

Fr. // Antioch, Ill.

  • Garnered her first career Player of the Week honor
  • Won her singles and doubles match to help team to a 4-3 victory at Northern Colorado
  • Defeated UNC's Anna Battersby (1 and 4) at No. 3 singles
  • Teamed for a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles victory
  • Owns a 9-2 singles record and 8-4 doubles mark this season
