South Dakota’s Kollarova Earns #SummitWTN Weekly Award

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota's Barbora Kollarova was named Summit League Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance March 20-26.

Sr. // Hlohovec, Slovakia

  • Earned her second-career Player of the Week honor, first this season
  • Recorded a win at No. 2 singles (6-3, 7-6) against Big East foe Creighton (12-5)
  • Improved her singles record to 13-4 on the year
  • Team competed hard, but fell 4-3, to Creighton
  • The Mavericks currently stand atop the league standings with two wins

Through 35 years of Division I athletics, The Summit League offers 19 championship sports and has a combined enrollment of nearly 100,000 at eight institutions, including three located in top 60 U.S. metro populations and two land-grant universities.
