SUU's Levins and ORU's Radcliff Garner Weekly Cross Country Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. - Southern Utah's Cameron Levins and Oral Roberts' Kristen Radcliff were named The Summit League's Cross Country Athletes of the Week for their performances Oct. 11-17.
MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Cameron Levins, Southern Utah
R-Sr., British Columbia, Canada
Levins earns his league-record 13th career Athlete of the Week honor and fourth of the season after winning the Chile Pepper Festival with a league-best 10k time of 29:13.8, his fourth-straight first-place finish this season. He finished ahead of runners from No. 1 Oklahoma State, No. 3 Oklahoma, No. 15 Arkansas, No. 27 Texas A&M and numerous regionally ranked teams. The red-shirt senior led the Thunderbirds to sixth-place overall out of 32 teams ahead of one nationally ranked team and eight regionally ranked teams. With the honor, Levins extends his league record (since 1995) to 13 career Athlete of the Week awards and ties the second-most league awards in season (4) with three former Thunderbirds (Cody Moat, Jess Baumgartner and Mark Currell). This marks the third season that he has collected four honors after doing so in 2008 and 2009.

Radcliff captures her third career Athlete of the Week award and second of the season after recording a 6k time of 21:02.8 at the Chile Pepper Festival. Her time marks the fourth-fastest league time this season. Radcliff led the Golden Eagles to a 16th-place finish ahead of three South Central regionally ranked teams in No. 6 Baylor, No. 10 TCU and No. 11 UT Arlington.
