ELMHURST, Ill. – North Dakota State's Brittany Brownotter garnered The Summit League Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her performance during the season-opening weekend through Sept. 5. The honor marks the first weekly award of the season.

- Finished first at the Bison Open with a time of 14:38.5 for her second career victory
- Helped lead NDSU to a team victory over league foe South Dakota State and intrastate rival North Dakota
