ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's Joel Reichow was named Summit League Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for his performance during the week of Sept. 6-12.

- Earned his fourth career Athlete of the Week honor and first of the 2016 season
- Placed third with a time of 19:54.5 (4 miles) at the Oz Memorial
- Finished behind a pair of nationally-ranked (No. 9 and 11) runners (Saucony Flo50 Men's Individual XC Rankings)
- Helped team finished third in a field that included No. 10 Wisconsin
