ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's Joel Reichow earned Summit League Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for his performance during the week of Sept. 20-26.

- Earned his second Athlete of the Week award of the season and fifth career accolade
- Summit League's highest finisher (35th) against a field of eight nationally-ranked teams at Roy Griak Invitational
- Recorded a time of 25:49.9 (8k), the league's sixth-best this season, on a muddy and soft course
- Placed ahead of the No. 12 and 21 ranked runners in the Saucony Flo50 national rankings
