ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's Kyle Burdick earned The Summit League's Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week accolade for his performance during the Sept. 8-9 weekend.

- Garnered his first career Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor
- Finished first at the Oz Memorial with a personal-best four-mile time of 19:55.74
- Led a 1-2-3 finish that lifted the Jackrabbits to a team victory over a field that included Minnesota, ranked No. 5 in the Midwest region, and league foe North Dakota State
- Victory came in his 2017 season debut
