ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne's Emma Rafuse claimed her second consecutive Summit League Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week accolade for her performance during the Sept. 8-9 weekend.

- Received her second career Athlete of the Week honor, both coming in consecutive weeks
- Finished third at the Bluegrass Invitational against a field that included host Kentucky and its No. 6 regional ranking
- Her time of 17:24.3 was the second-fastest in the league this season, trailing only her previous week's time, and ranks fifth on record all-time
- Became first back-to-back women's athlete of the week honoree since 2015 and only the second since 2013
