ELMHURST, Ill. – A No. 5 finish by South Dakota's women, the 2017 Summit League Champion, and a pair of individual top-20 finishes highlights Summit Leaguer performances in today' NCAA Men's and Women's Regional meets.
The top individual finishes were achieved by a pair of South Dakota State runners. Rachel King, the 2017 Summit League individual champion, placed 10th at the Midwest Regional. Teammate Kyle Burdick was the top's men's finisher, placing 16th.
SDSU had the top men's finish at No. 13 in the Midwest.
North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota State, and Western Illinois competed in the Midwest Regional in Ames, Iowa (RESULTS). Fort Wayne competed in the Great Lakes Regional in Terre Haute, Ind. (RESULTS).
