Stephanie Sabaduquia was promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Championships & Sport Administration in June 2018 after serving the previous two years as Director of Championships. She began her time with The Summit League in 2010 by spending two years as Communications Assistant before being elevated to Assistant Director of Communications in July 2012 and moving into a new role as Assistant Director of Championships in December 2014.
Before to joining The Summit League, Sabaduquia spent two years as a graduate assistant in athletic communications at Bowling Green State University. She served as the primary contact for volleyball, softball and gymnastics while assisting with all other aspects of the athletic department's communications.
Sabaduquia spent the 2006-07 season as the assistant volleyball and softball coach and assistant sports information director at Illinois College. She helped coach the Lady Blues volleyball team to a Midwest Conference South Division regular season title and the Lady Blues softball team to a 23-13 overall record, setting a school record for wins in a season, while also serving as the SID contact for IC's 18 NCAA Division III sports.
A native of Chicago, Sabaduquia graduated magna cum laude from North Park University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. At NPU, Sabaduquia was a four-year letterwinner for the Vikings' volleyball team. She received her master's degree in sport administration from BGSU in 2009. Sabaduquia resides in Sioux Falls, S.D.
