Get to Know Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a fall Q&A feature profiling Summit League SAAC representatives. These SAAC representatives provide a glimpse into their personal life away from their sport and what it is like being a student-athlete.

In this week's installment, a goalkeeper on the Denver men's soccer team, Will Palmquist, is profiled.

What is your favorite vacation spot? San Diego, Calif.

What is currently on your music play list? Glass Animals.

What is your funniest memory from youth sports? Air balling three-pointers in the YMCA and realizing basketball wasn't my calling.

Which actor/actress would play you in a movie? Owen Wilson.

What do you remember about your first college competition? Mixing a mean batch of Gatorade.

Who was your favorite athlete growing up? Roger Federer because he epitomizes sportsmanship and class.

Who is your favorite professional sports team? Everton FC or Colorado Rockies.

What are three things in life you couldn't live without? Family, friends and bacon.

Which three people would you want to have dinner with (current or historical)? Barack Obama, Roger Federer, and Will Ferrell.

 What is your favorite television show or movie? Game of Thrones.

What is the best advice you've ever received? Imagine being in someone else's shoes before passing judgment.

What attracted you to your institution? High quality business school and one of the top soccer programs in the country.

What community service projects/organizations are you involved with outside of athletics? Volunteer with Colorado Young Leaders, a nonprofit teaching teenagers leadership skills through service learning and projects. Activities range from organizing camping trips with homeless youth, to adaptive skiing with the disabled.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned from being a student-athlete? I learned that working hard for something bigger than yourself is a much more fulfilling process in the long run.

What is your favorite spot on campus? Pioneer Field.

What is your dream job/career? Financial analyst or professional soccer player.

Your most prized possession is? My moped…she is an absolute beaut and hits 45 on a good day.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I would live in downtown Denver because the city is on the rise and I love the feel of urban areas.  It's also a perfectly sized city, not too big or too small.

If you could have one superpower what would it be? Flying, because you could go anywhere in the world at any time.
