The Summit League and From Now On are partnering up again to bring an even better fan experience to the 2019 Basketball Championships.

Sioux Falls, SD. – In 2018, The Summit League & the Sioux Falls Sports Authority partnered with From Now On with the goal of creating a new mobile app that would increase fan engagement and more exposure to local sponsors during the Summit League Basketball Championships. With the implementation of the new app, user engagement quadrupled from 2017 to 2018. The Summit League Championships app includes scores, matchups and rosters along with providing a one-stop shop for fans to get push notifications, access to media and ticket links, engage with sponsored content and much more.

According to The Summit League officials, the mobile app provided by From Now On met all of their needs and exceeded all expectations. "We were ecstatic with the results from the app during the 2018 Summit League Basketball Championships," said Assistant Commissioner for Communications Ryan Powell. "The feedback we received from our institutions and fans was extremely positive. We are excited about the additions to this year's app and look forward to working with the From Now On team once again."

With all the positive feedback from fans, staff and schools, The Summit League and the Sioux Falls Sports Authority are very excited to continue their partnership with From Now On to maximize fan engagement. The updated app for 2019 will include an added wrinkle with the addition of The Summit League Rewards. Fans who download the app and sign up for the program will have the opportunity to win tickets, prizes and gift cards just by attending tournament games or visiting local sponsors.

Sue Thaden, CEO of From Now On had this to share about extending The Summit League relationship. "We were very excited by the initial success of their FanX app deployment in 2018 and are delighted to be expanding our relationship with The Summit League & Sioux Fall Sports Authority in year two.

"The Summit League Men's and Women's Basketball Championships are premier events for the city - and one of the best fan experiences in college basketball," she added. "We know the addition of our FanX Loyalty & Rewards platform will enhance the Summit League experience for fans in 2019 and beyond."

User experience is the top priority for From Now On. While the 2018 app was a huge success, this year's version will be stacked with many new features, bringing the fans even closer to the games. Users will have the ability to learn about each team and player in the tournament with finger-tip accessible player bios, watch from afar with the use of live viewing links, and even earn rewards for cheering on their teams and visiting sponsor locations in the Sioux Falls area.

The 2019 Summit League Basketball Championships will take place March 9-12 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Download the tournament app HERE. Fans who have already downloaded the app will need to be sure and sign up for the rewards program to be eligible to earn rewards.
