2015 Summit League Basketball Championships Ticket Update

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- (sfsportsauthority.org) All-session passes for the 2015 Summit League Basketball Championships in Sioux Falls, South Dakota will go on sale August 20-22, 2014 through a series of scheduled sales phases.  The three sales phases are as follows:

  • Phase 1 Presale
    • 2014 Summit League Baseball Championship ticket purchasers
    • Begins on August 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
    • Ends on August 21, 2014 at 10:00 p.m.
  • Phase 2 Presale
    • Previous Summit League Basketball Championships ticket purchasers (2009-2014) Begins on August 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
    • Ends on August 21, 2014 at 10:00 p.m.
  • Phase 3 General Sale
    • Begins on August 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.

Phase 1 and Phase 2 Presales will be available through Ticketmaster.com only and are only available to those who previously purchased tickets online. Those eligible for the presales will receive an email notification with purchase instructions prior to their respective presale. Tickets sold through the Phase 3 General Sale will be available through the Sioux Falls Arena box office, Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling Ticketmaster’s Toll-Free line at 1-800-745-3000. All-session passes, which include admission to all Summit League Basketball Championship games, start at $115. Due to anticipated ticket interest and demand, presale and general sale purchases will be limited to 8 tickets.

The 2015 Summit League Basketball Championships begin on Saturday, March 7 and runs through Tuesday, March 10.  The 2015 Summit League Basketball Championship marks the inaugural tournament in the new Denny Sanford PREMIER Center after six years in the Sioux Falls Arena. 

The Sioux Falls Sports Authority was formed in 2006 by community leaders to recruit major sporting events to the Sioux Falls area. The organization attracts international, national, regional and state sporting events by operating, leasing, enhancing or owning sports facilities in the Sioux Falls area. It is run by a board of directors made up of 15 community members, an executive director and project director. The organization has hosted the Summit League Basketball Championships since 2009. The 2011 Summit League Track and Field Championships, the 2011 and 2014 Summit League Baseball Championships, and the 2010-13 Sioux Falls Marathon were also hosted by the organization. In its fourth decade of Division I athletics, The Summit League offers 19 championship sports and has a combined enrollment of over 120,000 at nine institutions, including four located in top 60 U.S. metro populations and two land-grant universities. Member institutions include: Denver (University of Denver), Fort Wayne (Indiana University-Purdue University-Fort Wayne), IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis), North Dakota State University, Omaha (University of Nebraska Omaha), Oral Roberts University, the University of South Dakota, South Dakota State University and Western Illinois University.
