ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Brett Olson was named as The Summit League's Men's Basketball Player of the Week following his performance Feb. 3-9.

Olson received his second career and season honor after a career-high scoring effort in Denver's win over South Dakota. Against the Coyotes, Olson hit six-of-eight three-point attempts (75.0) and six-of-six free throw attempts in a 30-point performance. He shot 64.3 percent from the field (9-of-14) and dished out three assists against just one turnover. Olson's 30 points equaled the highest single-game scoring total in a Summit League game this season. He also became the first Denver player since Nov. 2011 to reach the 30-point plateau.
