Denver’s Udofia Named Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Chris Udofia was named as The Summit League's Men's Basketball Player of the Week following his performance Feb. 17-23.

Udofia garnered his second award of the season after averaging 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game while leading Denver to a pair of victories. Against Western Illinois, he scored 21 points, including 88.9 percent shooting (8-of-9) from the field, pulled down eight rebounds, dished out seven assists and blocked three shots. Versus Omaha, he posted a double-double on a 12-point, 11-rebound performance that also included three assists, two blocked shots and a pair of steals. For the week, Udofia shot 68.4 percent from the field and recorded a 5.0 assist/turnover ratio.
