FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Kason Harrell scored 20 points and Fort Wayne rolled past Western Illinois 90-74 on Wednesday night.
Harrell was 8 of 15 from the field, including three from distance, and had five steals for the Mastodons (17-12, 6-6 Summit League), who are third in the conference standings. John Konchar added 19 points, eight rebounds, six assists and five blocks. Bryson Scott also scored 19, Xzavier Taylor had 11 points and nine rebounds and Jordon King added 10 points.
The Mastodons scored first and led all the way, taking a 25-11 lead on a King 3-pointer midway and building to a 45-31 advantage at the break.
Western Illinois cut it to 60-53 with 11:57 to play but the Mastodons pulled away after that on 3-pointers by Konchar, King and Jax Levitch.
Isaac Johnson scored 23 points with five rebounds for the Leathernecks (11-13, 2-9). Kobe Webster added 21 points.
SOUTH DAKOTA 85, ORAL ROBERTS 67
TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Tyler Hagedorn had 20 points and 10 rebounds and South Dakota opened the second half on a 31-8 run and beat Oral Roberts 85-67 on Wednesday night.
South Dakota (23-6, 10-2 Summit League) has won five straight and a Division I program-best 23 games. The Coyotes have two games remaining, and are a half-game back of league leader South Dakota State (10-1). The two meet in the regular season finale on Feb. 22.
The Golden Eagles had a 41-33 halftime advantage, but Matt Mooney scored 12 points, Hagedorn added six and Tyler Peterson scored all six of his points to open the second half and the Coyotes led 64-49 with 9:33 remaining.
Mooney made three 3-pointers and finished with 19 points for South Dakota. Triston Simpson chipped in 14 points.
Javan White scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Oral Roberts (10-19, 4-8), which has lost four of its last five games. Austin Ruder added 13 points and Emmanuel Nzekwesi 10.
DENVER 94, OMAHA 78
DENVER (AP) - Joe Rosga scored 28 points with four 3-pointers, Daniel Amigo added 21 points, and Denver never trailed in beating Omaha 94-78 on Wednesday night to split the season series.
Ade Murkey scored 11 points and Jake Pemberton added 10 for the Pioneers (12-14, 6-6 Summit League), who made 10 of 20 3-pointers and shot 59.3 percent from the field.
Matt Pile's layup sparked a 12-2 run and Omaha closed to 60-49 on JT Gibson's 3, then to 69-63 after a 9-2 run. Pemberton's 3 put Denver up 84-71 and Ade Murkey dunked it to make it a 15-point lead with 1:16 left.
Denver led 52-36 at halftime after hitting eight 3-pointers.
Daniel Norl scored 21 points, JT Gibson had 14 and Zach Jackson 11 for Omaha (9-18, 4-7). Norl made both of his free throws for 18 straight since Jan. 25.
