Valpo’s Kissell Named #SummitMTN Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Valparaiso's Chad Kissell was named Summit League Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance March 27-April 2.

  • Garnered his first career Summit League Player of the Week award
  • Notched a straight-set victory over Oral Roberts' Kenneth Boykin (6-0, 7-5) at No. 1 singles
  • Teamed for a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles against ORU
  • Helped team to 7-0 Summit League victory over the Golden Eagles
  • Ranks seventh in school annals for both singles wins and doubles victories
  • Improved his season singles record to 14-11 and his doubles mark to 15-10
