-- ORU's McIntyre broke The Summit League record of 23 rebounds held by Angela Gilbert (UIC) set on Jan. 31, 1993.
-- Denver's Morgan Van Riper-Rose scored her 1,000th career point in the loss to Belmont and ended the game with 1,003 career tallies.
-- IUPUI's Shaquira Scott was named to the CSUN Tournament All-Tournament Team.
-- North Dakota State captured the Florida Atlantic Holiday Tournament with its win over NJIT. Brooke LeMar and Marena Whittle earned All-Tournament Team honors for the Bison.

North Dakota 85, Western Illinois 77 | Recap
MACOMB, Ill. (goleathernecks.com) -- Ashley Luke recorded her first double-double of the season and Michelle Farrow tallied a career-high 17 points Saturday afternoon but Western Illinois dropped an 85-77 decision against North Dakota inside Western Hall. The Leathernecks fall to 3-3 on the season while UND, a NCAA Tournament team a season ago, improved to 5-1.

Denver Thanksgiving Tournament
Belmont 72, Denver 43 | Recap

DENVER (denverpioneers.com) -- The University of Denver women's basketball team lost to the Belmont Bruins 72-43 on Saturday afternoon at Magness Arena. Belmont (1-5) hit the glass hard and forced Denver (0-5) into 19 turnovers to take the third game of the Denver Thanksgiving Classic. The Bruins held a 60-36 rebounding advantage over the Pioneers.

In fitting fashion Denver senior guard Morgan Van Riper-Rose surpassed 1,000 career points when she drained a three-pointer at the 13:29 mark of the second half. Van Riper-Rose is currently in 22nd place on Denver's all-time scoring list with 1,003 career points. She needs 24 more points to pass Tasha Jones for 21st place on the scoring list.

Sophomore Jacqlyn Poss led the Pioneers in scoring with 10 points, her second straight game scoring in double figures off the bench. Jordan Johnston put in five points and grabbed seven rebounds. Freshman Avery Queen played 28 minutes, the most of her career, and contributed six points and five rebounds.

Montana State 80, IUPUI 74 | Recap
NORTHRIDGE, Calif. (iupuijags.com) -- Mikale Rogers led the way with a season-high 17 points and Kelsi Byrd tied a career-high with 15 points, but a late surge from Montana State propelled the Bobcats to an 80-74 victory Saturday afternoon in the final game for both teams at the Radisson Chatsworth Thanksgiving Tournament.

Coming off a 10-point loss on Friday in which IUPUI (2-4) had its worst shooting performance of the season, the Jags shot 50.0 percent from the field, including 47.1 percent from three, but the Bobcats shot 49.2 percent from the floor and outscored the Jaguars bench 48-19 to earn the win.

Joining Rogers and Byrd in double figures was Shaquira Scott, who added 14 points and four rebounds.

Florida Atlantic Holiday Tournament
North Dakota State 60, NJIT 48 | Recap
BOCA RATON, Fla. (gobison.com) -- The North Dakota State women's basketball team (3-2) captured the Florida Atlantic Thanksgiving Tournament Championship with a 60-48 victory over the NJIT Highlanders (3-4) inside FAU Arena on Saturday night, Nov. 29. 

Senior Brooke LeMar paced the Bison with a game-high 21 points on 6-for-16 shooting, with 19 of her 21 points coming in the second-half, and went a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line. Junior Holly Johnson tallied a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while junior Marena Whittle snagged a game-high 11 rebounds.

Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic
Oral Roberts 73, Austin Peay 60 | Recap

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (oruathletics.com) -- Vicky McIntyre set an Oral Roberts University single-game record for rebounds with 27 and added 22 points to help the Golden Eagles hold off Austin Peay 73-60 at the Southern Mississippi Thanksgiving Classic.

The redshirt senior's day was compiled mostly in the first half as she had 20 points and 20 rebounds at intermission with ORU holding a 31-25 lead. McIntyre's 27 rebounds also set the Reed Green Coliseum record for boards in a game.

ORU hit a season-best six three-pointers as Dorottya Balla finished with 14 points on 3-of-6 from behind the arc. Freshmen Jayden Oliver – who earned her first collegiate start – joined Jordan Doyle with a pair of three-pointers as well to help stave off the Lady Govs second half rally.

Lady Rebel Round-Up
South Dakota State 55, Northern Illinois 42 | Recap

LAS VEGAS (gojacks.com) -- The South Dakota State University women's basketball team used a 9-0 run midway through the first half and recorded a 55-42 nonconference win over Northern Illinois in the UNLV Lady Rebel Round-Up Saturday at Cox Pavilion Arena.

The Jacks, who snapped a three-game neutral site losing streak, were led by sophomore Chynna Stevens and her game-high 13 points. Classmate Kerri Young added 12 points and dished a career-tying six assists. Nine Jackrabbits scored in the game. Freshman Macy Miller snared a team- and career-best seven rebounds to go with six points and two blocks.
