BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (iupuijags.com) -- A 13-0 run to close the first half sent Indiana into the half with a double-digit lead and the IUPUI women's basketball team couldn't recover as it fell to the Hoosiers, 68-55, Sunday afternoon at Assembly Hall.
Indiana came into the game ranked ninth in the country in scoring averaging just under 90 points per game, but the Jags were able to outrebound IU, 41-30, and kept Indiana to their second-lowest scoring output of the season.
Kelsi Byrd and Mikale Rogers led the way with 11 points apiece, while Jenna Gunn scored seven points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
