BROOKINGS, S.D. (gojacks.com) -- With a season-high 3,840 fans in attendance at Saturday's 43rd annual Pork Classic, the South Dakota State University women's basketball team broke away with a 16-0 first-half run to record an 82-52 win over North Dakota State University in Summit League action at Frost Arena.

The Jackrabbits, who had four starters score in double figures, won their third-straight contest and sixth consecutive home game to improve to 15-7 overall and 6-3 in league play.

Senior forward Mariah Clarin led the Jackrabbits with 21 points and 12 rebounds for her second double-double of the season and fifth in her career.

VERMILLION, S.D. (goyotes.com) -- South Dakota got a season-high 21 points from freshman Kate Liveringhouse and 19 points from senior Raeshel Contreras during a 93-70 win against Oral Roberts Saturday inside the DakotaDome.

The Coyotes (17-5, 7-2 Summit) improved to 10-0 at home and remain atop the Summit League standings. Oral Roberts (10-12, 4-5) has lost its last two following a season-long three-game win streak.

Liveringhouse led a Coyote bench that poured in 46 points on 60 percent shooting (20 of 33). Liveringhouse was 9 of 11 from the field and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line. She also had three rebounds, two steals and an assist.

INDIANAPOLIS (iupuijags.com) -- Two weeks ago, the IUPUI women's basketball team traveled to Omaha without the services of Nevena Markovic and Akilah Sims and the Mavericks handed the Jaguars a 17-point defeat. Saturday afternoon, Sims and Markovic combined for 25 points and 12 rebounds propelling IUPUI to a 68-49 win over the Mavericks at The Jungle.

The Jags improved to 10-12 overall and 5-4 in the Summit League, while Omaha fell to 6-15 overall and 1-8 in conference action. Sims led the way with 14 points, and she was joined in double figures by Markovic (11), #Mikale Rogers (11), and Shaquira Scott (10). The 14-point effort for Sims marked her fourth consecutive double-figure performance.

MACOMB, Ill. (goleathernecks.com) -- Junior Ashley Luke hit a pair of free throws with 2.2 seconds remaining to help lead the Leathernecks past Fort Wayne, 59-55, Saturday (Jan. 31) afternoon. The Leathernecks, who improved to 14-8 overall (6-3 Summit League) with the victory, collected their first regular season sweep of the Mastodons (8-14, 2-7) in program history.

Luke (26 points, 10 rebounds) and junior Sophie Reichelt (12 points, 11 rebounds) each recorded double-doubles for Western, and in the process closed out a four-game home stand with three consecutive victories.
