FORT WAYNE, Ind. (gobison.com) -- The North Dakota State women's basketball team (10-17, 6-9 Summit League) rallied from an 11-point second-half deficit to defeat the Fort Wayne Mastodons (9-18, 3-11 Summit League), 72-66, on Saturday, Feb. 21, inside the Gates Sports Center. The victory snapped a seven-game losing skid for the Bison and was the first win in Fort Wayne for NDSU since the 2011-12 season.
Brooke LeMar led the Bison with a game-high 23 points and eight assists, while Holly Johnson netted 17 points and pulled down a team-high nine rebounds. Taylor Thunstedt also reached double figures for the Bison, scoring 12 points to go along with a game-high three steals.

INDIANAPOLIS (iupuijags.com) -- It was Senior Day for the IUPUI women's basketball team at The Jungle on Saturday and the Jags couldn't have honored senior Nevena Markovic any better than they did by posting an 85-52 win over Oral Roberts in Summit League action.
In her final home game as a Jaguar, Markovic scored 15 points and added seven rebounds, and Akilah Sims had a career night scoring a career-high 30 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the floor and 7-of-7 shooting from the stripe.
It marked the first time since March 11, 2013, that the Jags had a player score at least 30 points in a game. That night, Kerah Nelson dropped 32 points in The Summit League Tournament against South Dakota.

BROOKINGS, S.D. (gojacks.com) -- With four starters scoring in double figures, the South Dakota State University women's basketball team recorded its eighth-straight home win, picking up a 77-67 victory Saturday afternoon over the University of South Dakota in front of 4,594 fans at Frost Arena.
The Jackrabbits improve to 19-8 overall and 10-4 in The Summit League. USD is now 21-6, 11-3.
Senior Megan Waytashek led South Dakota State with 18 points and four assists. Freshman guard Macy Miller added 16 points and a game- and career-high 10 rebounds for her first collegiate double-double. Sophomore guard Kerri Young scored 12 points while senior forward Mariah Clarin recorded 10 points, 8 in the second half.

MACOMB, Ill. (goleathernecks.com) -- The last home game for seniors Tori Niemann and Jenna Mueller will be one to remember as the Leathernecks closed out the home portion of its schedule Saturday (Feb. 21) afternoon with a 75-56 victory over Denver. The 19 point victory moves the Leathernecks to 17-10 overall, 9-5 in The Summit League.
Ashley Luke continued her MVP season as she finished the game with 23 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, four steals, and a block. The Oak Creek, Wisconsin, native has now scored in double figures in 64 consecutive games, while her double-double streak has been extended to eight consectuive contests. Luke has recorded a double-double in 13 of the past 14 games and 17 of the last 19 contests.
